Christmas Lights 2020 Covid19 KGH

Tax deductible
Its a long post but please read.

Will you join me in making a difference?

So I am starting early this festive season with a request for help so thanks for reading..

I'm raising money in aid of my local NHS Hospital, Kettering General in recognition of all the amazing staff that continue to work so hard during Covid-19, every donation will really help support the amazing staff at the hospital so even if its just £5 thank you this will really support them.

The Story:

So for those that know me well or live on the Kings Meadow Estate in Higham Ferrer's will know for over 10 years I have always decorated the outside of our house with Christmas lights, the last two years I have to admit the display has been a lot more low key and I even got complaints from my neighbours!!

So this year and due to the effect Covid-19 has had on so many people I wanted to really go big and brighten up Christmas with a colourful light display that will be on from Friday 27th November 2020.

So many of us have taken to walking the streets to either help with there own state of mind or just to get out the house after a long day at work on conference calls, so what better way to enjoy that walk in late November and during December with the kids and come and look at our lights.

We are not the only house on our estate to light up the house for Christmas and I'm sure we will not be the biggest display but I hope to create a display of light for everyone to enjoy, we have invested in a lot of new lights this year so I am looking forward to creating the display. Please feel free to come onto the drive to see the display in full as not only will the house be lit but we have a ground display as well.

Anyone collecting a cake from Cupalicious will get a real close up view when they come to the door (social distancing in place) so bring the kids!

However this is the magical part to my fundraising,  from November 5th 2020 you can write to Santa and your child will receive an instant reply from the big man himself, Santa has agreed that all the staff at Kettering need a bit of festive cheer so he has helped to sponsor the event and will take the time to write to every child who sends him a Christmas letter, all you need to do is ensure the child's name and address is on your letter and Santa will do the rest. Closing date is Friday 10th December.
Please post your letters to

Santa 15 Townsend Leys Higham Ferrers Northants NN108LW

The elves will then deliver your letters to the north pole and Santa will reply.

There is NO cost for this service but if you can spare a few pounds for the charity then thank you.

So together Lets make a difference this Christmas and say thanks to our local hospital workers for all they have done.

Thanks for reading and please even if you cant donate please share this post!
