This cause is dedicated to our beloved brother, son, cousin, friend, and father Eric Schultz. In 2016, Eric suddenly passed away from an overdose after having over 2 years in sobriety. Eric struggled with this disease for many years, but through the love of his family and newfound friends he was able to live a new life full of happiness and unforgettable memories.
In Eric's name, our family has started a Christmas tradition to show addicts who are in treatment centers that there is always someone out there who cares. Eric lived his life helping others and constantly wanting the best for everyone. He understood and believed that showing these acts of kindness makes a huge difference in someone's life.
Each year, with the money we raise, we provide Christmas gifts along with a letter from Eric to individuals in treatment centers throughout South Florida. With the generous donations we've received, we've been able to reach more and more people each year. We hope to continue spreading hope and love during the holidays, when times can be especially difficult for those who may be spending them without their families.
