Christmas Fundraiser for Education and Clean Water.

We are approaching the end of the year and the holiday season is coming up. At Mizizi Ya Mafanikio, we will spend it continuing our projects and preparing for the coming year. We aim to expand our Clean Water Initiative and Women’s Solidarity program, but for that we will need your help.

Even a small donation can help us continue developing our projects. Some examples of what your donations will be used for can be found below:

Just 8£ could go towards giving a female student a reusable menstrual pad. This full kit can be used for many years, replacing the newspaper which has become the standard for most women in Tanzania and providing a cleaner and more environmentally friendly alternative.

A donation of only 19£ could provide one of our students with one year of full health insurance coverage. Over our last year of running our Women's solidarity program, we have noticed this to be a significant issue facing our students and desperately need your help to change this. Full health insurance would not only guarantee our students access to education but also improve the efficiency of Mizizi Ya Mafanikio freeing up funds to be used on educational materials.

Donations might also go to the maintenance cost of a small filter at an orphanage that we installed last Christmas. After the year's end we need to cover the Maintenance costs for the next year ensuring that these children continue their development free from life-threatening issues such as typhoid and other waterborne diseases as well as the threat of skeletal fluorosis on their bone formations. We were shocked to find that over 33 million school days are missed yearly due to waterborne diseases and are trying to solve this issue. No more than 75£ can cover the entire maintenance cost for the next year and help over 100 children find their way to adulthood without missing crucial education and play.

Further donations will find use in our ambitions for the next year. From our wish to provide Laptops for our students to our continual drive to install new water filters in our partnered community, there are so many issues yet to be solved. Any donation is appreciated to fund our drive to leave a marked impact on the lives of those communities we have grown to know and love over our last year of operations

In the giving spirit of Christmas, we are hoping to collect 1800 GBP in support of our projects. All funds will directly go towards supporting our projects. We are so thankful to everyone contributing to our projects to make these projects successful in the long term.
