Hello everyone! My family and I woke up to the most terrifying thing ever. A fire broke out in our neighbor's townhome at around 6 a.m. on Christmas day. Unfortunately, the fire spread to our unit. I am so grateful that my family and I, as well as my neighbors, made it out alive. It's bittersweet because we pretty much have to start all over from scratch again. We just moved to this townhome two months ago, and all of our furniture, appliances, and other personal items are completely ruined by smoke and water damage.

We humbly come to you guys for help in this trying time. I live with a life-threatening disability called sickle cell anemia, and the cold winter weather causes me to go into excruciating pain crises. My parents are also senior citizens, and my mother is a stroke survivor with mobility issues.
