On Christmas Eve, my home and yard were devastated by severe flooding. We woke up to find five feet of mud and debris covering our property and filling our garage. The damage was overwhelming, and while our flood insurance will help with repairs to the house and garage, it doesn’t cover the massive costs of clearing the mud, removing debris, or replacing our fences. The cleanup is more than we can manage on our own.

We’re working hard to restore our home, but the scale of the damage is beyond what we ever imagined. Every day, we’re shoveling, hauling, and trying to reclaim our space, but the costs keep adding up. We also want to help our neighbors, who are facing similar challenges after the flood.
