Hello everyone, my name is Hunter. I am a lifelong Maumee Ohio resident. I am also an Eagle Scout. I was in scouting for 13 years and 5 years ago for my Eagle Scout project I put together a program to help feed 30 families in need around our neighborhood. It was called the Christmas Dinner Care Packages. Four years ago I decided to do the project again on my own and it was successful. So I decided that I would like to continue to do this every year to give back to our community. I work through the Maumee Board of Education to help choose the families in need between four schools in Maumee, OH. This will be my 5th year doing this. This year I have decided to add 10 more Christmas dinners care packages. So I will be doing 40 in total. 30 of the care packages will be for the larger families and 10 will be for the elderly and veterans families. However, after looking over what this project has cost from the first year to this year I am truly going to need some help to complete the project this year so please if you would like to donate every little bit helps.
