Hi friends!

I have favor to ask . I have a friend who’s a single mom of 5. Her husband abruptly left awhile ago, and she has been living paycheck to paycheck ever since.

She works part time, goes to school, raises a bunch of kids on her own and donates plasma multiple times a week to supplement her income &, in her words, “give my kids a bit of a Christmas”. This system of hers wasn’t ideal, but it worked okay until covid hit her family a few months ago, and then she was no longer able to work or donate plasma due to being quarantined for weeks & she had the added bonus of numerous medical bills for two of her children. Without going into too many details, she is weary & down to her last $10.

This isn’t right during the holidays or during any days! and I’m asking you to consider helping her out. Even $5 goes a long ways when you are pinching pennies like this. I get it, when my late husband was in treatments for cancer, I was shopping at Goodwill to provide a Christmas. There is nothing that will humble you more than your child asking why a game is missing some of the pieces after opening a gift.
