Christine Weidinger recovery fund
Donation protected
On Sunday night, February 22, Christine Weidinger was in a car accident. Another vehicle, which did not stop, hit her car while she was trying to merge, causing her to lose control and drive off the road into a steep ditch. Christine was taken to Duke Hospital where it was discovered that she had a broken hip. Surgery was done early Monday morning and everything went well.
Christine was very lucky to have survived the accident, which left her with a broken hip and the car with very expensive damages.
I started this fund to help Christine and Ken get through this difficult time by helping with some of the financial burden. Christine and Ken have been sharing one car since early 2014 and now that one car has been compromised. I would like to raise enough money to cover the repairs or replace their current car, cover their bills and life expenses for a month and help with medical expenses.
Sometimes life throws lemons. sometimes it throws something much more threatening at us. If you can afford to help, please make a contribution. Christine is my teacher, my mentor and my friend and I would like to help her through this difficult time as much as possible so that she can focus on healing.
Sincerely and gratefully,
Stephanie
