The Allerford Inn is very proud to announce we are offering free wakes for anyone who has lost a baby under 1 years old.

This decision was made after we were approached last year ago by a beautiful family who had sadly lost their gorgeous 9 month old boy, Brice.

This resonated with us at The Allerford Inn, as our amazing Landlady lost her stunning daughter Christine at only 5 months old. We have named this initiative "Christine's Gift".

WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OFFER FREE WAKES TO 3 FAMILIES JUST IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS!

This is a cause that means a hell of a lot to us here. We have been looking at ways of providing help to people who had been through something similar, and we now feel that we have a platform which we are able to do that.

While we'd love to be offer this service to everyone who has suffered loss, unfortunately we are still a business. This decision was made because it is held so close to our hearts.

While this initiative means a lot to us, it comes at a great expense. We are seeing a spike in the Christine's gift being used and we are fund raising in order to help contribute to future costs of wakes.

T&C's: Wakes offered on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday subject to availability. Catering offered COMPLETELY FREE for up to 50 attendees (additional food and extras may be purchased and added if required).
