Dearest Family and Friends,

On behalf of Jay and Christine, I am reaching out to share some difficult news. As many of you know, within the last few years Chrissy has been diagnosed with an advanced form of Frontotemporal Lobe Dementia. There is no treatment for this disease, only medicines to help treat the symptoms. At this point, the disease is advancing rapidly, and Chrissy struggles with language, muscle weakness and swallowing. She has become more and more dependent on others for her everyday care. Jay, his family and close friends are doing everything they can, but it is becoming more and more evident that she will need more professional care. At this point, we are praying for a miracle.

For those of you who know Jay and Chrissy, they are two of the most caring individuals you would ever meet. They have always been there to help a family member or friend in need. As you can imagine, this diagnosis has been devastating, but Jay and Chrissy have faced it head on and have shown incredible strength and resilience.

Chrissy has been such a blessing in the lives of so many of us; she is one of the strongest, loving people I know. She has a tremendous journey ahead of her. It will take a village to support her and her family through this.

Our hope is that we will help Chrissy and Jay with the cost of in home care, medical bills and any other unforeseen expensses to help them navigate this emotional and difficult time.
