Thanks to everyone who helped us get home and be by moms side so far . Our hearts are heavy with pain, but the hep given by all of you has made it a bit easier. Mom was diagnosed yesterday with stage 4 cancer and unfortunately there will be no cure. His couldn’t have happened to a more undeserving person.
We just received an update and things are really bad . There’s cancer on the brain and elsewhere. My email is [email redacted] if you prefer to help us that way.

Hello, my name is Colin Stead. My family is in need of help. My mom has been sick for a few months now with severe leg pain. As time went on things kept getting worse . We still don’t know what’s wrong other then knowing there’s a mass growing on her kidney and her spine. She had had kidney, and spine infections as well as pneumonia in her lungs . This morning while waiting to have an mri things have gotten worse and my mom lost the use of her right arm . We are raising money to be able to get flights home to Newfoundland, from regjna, in an emergency situation and to use any funds to help with whatever costs that may incur medically. We want to fly her grandchildren home (one of which is 4 weeks old and she has never met her) it is with great difficulty that we ask for help, but with circumstances being so dire we feel we have no other choice. As many of you know, my mother is the most amazing lady. She spend practically her entire life taking care of my dad who was a paraplegic and is the most u selfish woman in the world. She deserves much better then this and she needs your help. She hasn’t been able to return to work this year due to this sickness and inky works seasonal employment. Thank you for any donations at this time, my brother Lee and I greatly appreciate it.
