I am not very good at putting my emotions into words, especially when it comes to someone else's story. But I'm going to do my best to explain the reasoning for this gofund me.

For those of you who knew my mother, may have known that she suffered from mental health illness. It was a constant battle for her throughout the years even with the help of medication.

In the most recent years she had officially received a diagnoses for the illness she was fighting. This lead to monthly appointments for special injections to help balance the chemicals in her brain that control how it functions.

Even on a treatment plan, it couldn't help her. She eventually got tired of fighting her battle this way and decided to stop the monthly appointments.

I lost my mom years ago to mental health illness, and yesterday she finally found peace and left us.

I am creating this gofundme not only to help alleviate some of the unexpected costs our family will be facing, but I'd also like to donate any remaining funds to the CMHA.

Just because my mom lost her battle, doesn't mean she didn't fight every day to win. Please, if you are struggling reach out and get help.
