I desperately need your help for Surgery!

As most of you know, I have been in excruciating back pain for the last few years, which has not only diminished my quality of life, but also my ability to work. My agony is so all encompassing that I can no longer get out of bed some days. This is where I need your help.

My spinal surgeon has stated that the only resolution is a complex spinal fusion that will fuse most of my spine permanently. I'm terrified of what could happen during a major seven hour surgery, but my only wish is to relieve my horrible pain and hope to get back to living a normal life where I can walk on the beach, enjoy time with family and friends without being in constant pain.

I was shocked to have just found out that I will need to pay the hospital copay upfront when I arrive, which is $2,500!!! I had no idea! I still can't believe this!! This is where I need your help.

it took me months to get a surgical date. They will fuse T-10 (near bottom of shoulder blades) down to my sacrum.

Well, the BIG day is next Friday, 3/21 and I have not been working due to my extreme pain, and a friend recommended that I give Gofundme a try.

I will be in surgery for 6-7 hours the morning of 3/21 and will be in the hospital for 6 or 7 days. I will then be moved to a skilled nursing facility for up to 20 days. My recovery with rehab will be 3-6 months. The fusion won't be completely healed for 12 months. UGH!

So if you can find it in your hearts (and pocketbooks), I would greatly appreciate anything that you can spare - and a little prayer!
