Hi, my name is Holli. My longtime friend Christine Nicholson tragically lost her fight with mental illness and depression yesterday. 6 months ago today Christine lost her partner of a decade in a MVA. Christine has struggled her whole life with depression, but was always the first person on scene when you needed a friend. She was a compassionate soul who felt too much and loved to hard. Christine was a single mother and leaves behind an adult son(out of town) and her 2 young teenagers. Christine did not have a life insurance policy or savings. The loss of her partner left her with debt she felt she couldn’t climb out of. On behalf of the family I am hoping to raise money to help with moving the children to their father’s home, packing up her belongs, storing them for a few months and the last of her bills etc. Christine would give the shirt off her back for a stranger, she has taken in people off the streets to eat turkey dinner with her family. Christine had a heart of gold and didn’t deserve the cards she was dealt in this life. Rest peacefully Christine.
