Christine Lorelli's Cancer Treatment Fund

This is Christine and Ernie Lorelli. They met while they were stationed over seas in the Air Force.  They have two children and 1 grandchild together. Ernie commonly says that Christine is his air. Knowing this couple you can see how much that is true.


Ernie retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant. For the last 14 years, Christine has been working as a teacher. She currently teaches 2nd grade at Simmons Elementary, a Title 1 school in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Ernie works at the same school part-time as a small group specialist.


Two years ago, Christine was diagnosed with Cancer. She is a fighter and has amazing support from her husband, Ernie. She started treatment and had to take time off from the school year. Her students were saddened and eagerly awaited her return. She made great gains at the start of the last school year and was able to shrink the cancer to tiny specks. Her dedication to her students was evident. She pushed herself to teach while still receiving biweekly treatments. After that intensive chemo treatment ended, the cancer came back in full force and has spread to most of her organs and lymph nodes. 

Due to the spread of the cancer, Christine and Ernie are not able to come back to work  and are in need of help. Currently, they pay a lot of money per month for her treatment plan. Needless to say, as teachers, they are having difficulty staying afloat. They are only able to cover 1 more month of treatment before they have depleted their funds.
