Christine is asking for help

As most of you know, my sweet Mum passed away suddenly in December and I have been left with the task of getting my dad, who suffers from advanced dementia into long term care and getting my parents house emptied and ready to sell. This means I have to stay in Canada for an extended period of time and have had to take a leave from work. Where I will Still be teaching as much as I can, it will not be enough. I am Trying to sublet my New York apartment to try to ease the burden, but have not had success as of yet. This means the 1st is fast approaching and I am in a bind. If I cant get the place sublet before March, I’ll be in an even worse bind. Asking for help is not something I do well or do often, so you can tell I must be desperate. My life has been flipped upside down and dealing with everything on top of mourning Mum has made life extremely challenging and overwhelming. I just Don’t know what else to do.
