In Loving Memory of my mum Christine Hanley

With heavy hearts our beloved mum Christine who was a loving mother, kind soul and full of laughter filled with endless love passed away on 02/03/2025.

Due to my mums illness she made numerous friends while at the hospice especially due to her passion for gardening, walks with Eddie her dog and other dogs. She touched everyone who knew her, and her loss leaves an unfillable void.

As we grieve, I have not had the courage to set this up.

My mum didn’t want flowers just donations to this great hospice.

So I have finally set this up and we want to honor mum’s memory with the dignity she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small

We managed pop in to the Heart of Kent Hospice the week mum passed, to feel a bit closer to her but to also donate her oxygen machine for someone who will benefit from it.

We just want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and support the Hospice provided to my mum during her time with them. Their compassion, dedication, and kindness made an immeasurable difference in her journey and brought comfort to our family knowing how much she loved it there.

As we are still navigating this profound loss, I feel inspired to honor her memory by raising both awareness and funds for the hospice that played such a vital role in her care.

Thank you for everything you do. I am committed to helping spread the word about the Hospice and the services you provide, and I hope to make a meaningful contribution in my mum’s name.

So on that note I’ll be running the Sydney Marathon this August! ‍♂️
