My friend and sister in Christ, Christine Genthner, has been declared legally blind by her doctor. She has severe cataracts in both eyes. They are in the "plan of attack" stage with several appointments on the calendar including an ultrasound to determine if tumors are an issue in the left eye.
Christine is one to not trouble anyone with her burdens and now has found herself on the verge of eviction. With all the medical cost involved and no insurance she is in need of some help.
Christine is a dearly loved employee of Chick fil A in Waynesboro, Virginia, but her income is not enough to keep up with the need.
I am reaching out for my friend to ask your help.
Surgery is in December meaning time off work, follow up appointments, household bills on top of a dept of past due rent. As of the 20th of November she will be 4 months behind.
In calculating what this, in the best scenario, would cost to get her on her feet and keep her there till she is fully recovered, I included quotes from her doctors and information from Christine herself.
Christine at this point is in great need of rent. That is a total of $3,400 and she will be cought up to date, but by next month till this is over she will be right in the same boat.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
