Christine Dukeman - Help to Get Back on Your Feet

Hi my name is Laura Malina, last Tuesday 1/25th my Best Friend of 45 years Christine Dukeman took a terrible fall down a flight of stairs after tutoring a student. She broke her right foot in five places and has a hairline fracture in the left foot. She has had one surgery to straighten her right foot and is currently at Elmhurst hospital awaiting another surgery to place rods and pins. She will need extensive rehabilitation once the surgeries are completed in a rehabilitation center in Long Island. She will not be able to walk or work for another month of two after the surgeries. Christine lives in a 2nd Floor walkup with a high rent.

Christine is an elementary teacher and tutors math privately after school. Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing her knows that she is a caring, kind and thoughtful person. She truly would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Christine won’t get a paycheck while out of work for this long. She has helped so many people in her lifetime; let’s band together to help her now when she needs it most.
