Christine Barker needs your support!

To all of Christine’s friends and family, we are asking for your help and support. On September 9th, 2024, Christine was officially diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Motor Neuron Disease (MND) or (in the United States) Lou Gehrig's disease (LGD), it is a rare, terminal neurodegenerative disorder that results in the progressive loss of both upper and lower motor neurons that normally controls voluntary muscle contraction.
This is a very expensive disease with many of those expenses not covered by extended health including organic foods, lift, naturopathic medicine, chiropractor, physio therapist, wheelchair van, massage supplements, and respite nurses that Christine notes, to give her children a break which speaks to her character that even battling ALS, she is concerned about the welfare of those around her.
