Christine and Gary Carlson are a wonderful older couple trying to supplement their Social Security benefits. They've been delivering our newspaper for years. Despite having some minor physical limitations they always carry the newspaper up to the front door.  We've told them it isn't necessary, particularly in the snow, but they insist because we are a slightly older couple than they :-)  Now, the worst possible thing has happened. The car caught fire in our driveway and is a total loss. The small insurance payout won't help much so Christine and Carl are left with no way to supplement their income. We would love to help them out by raising enough money to get them a reliable used car.  Any donation, however small, would be appreciated!
