ChristinaStroble remove 2 tumors from brain, skul

Hi my name is Tina Kocsis

I am here to ask for help for our daughter who is going into MUSC to have 2 tumors removed from outside her brain. One of them are pressing up against her brain which is causing swelling of the brain and is also pressing against her eye. The eye Dr said her eye is stretched as much as possible, if it stretches anymore the eyeball will detach itself.

Christina is working with Santee Cooper and will be there 8 yrs as of March 2023. Christina only has one week vacation and will not be eligible for two weeks until she has been employed with them for 10 yrs, so although MUSC will be picking up everything except for $1500.

She is also scheduled to have another MRI w/contrast she has to have Thursday Feb 23, 2023, she will have the surgery on Friday February 24,2023 they will be removing a piece of her skull and placing a plate there. She was told her recovery time will be 8 weeks, possibly more.

Christina is married to Nicole whom she's been with for 11 years been married 8 years this year and they live in Huger S.C. with their daughter Lilly.

Christina was told that she is at a very high risk for stroke, heart attack or even possible brain bleed, so not having this surgery is not an option, and being out of work for 8- to 10 weeks could be devastating with only one week vacation.

So we are asking if anyone could help them so they they can keep their bills up and to be able to purchase medical supplies she will need when she goes home.

They are probably struggling more with asking for help than going into surgery because they hate to ever ask for help. And they are so grateful as well as we all want to thank you so much for anything anyone is able to do, as well as for everyones prayers.

We are very confident that the Lord will be with her as well as every person in the room performing the surgery, and recovery that it will be a very successful surgery, that she will have her eyesight completely restored and a speedy, and successful recovery in Jesus Name
