This is Christina. If you have lived in Dayton or have any kids in sports you have definitely seen her around, or at least heard her cheering her kids on :)
Her and her family have volunteered for years in the area for all different kind of organizations, whenever someone needed help they were there to step up. She has always been the one to lend a helping hand whenever she can and has never been the one to ask for anything, but now she needs our help!
After recovering from a previous cancer scare last year, Christina recently found out she has cancer again, this time in her lungs.
She has already gone through so much just to get a proper diagnosis and has begun chemotherapy and radiation treatment. In a few weeks she will find out what road she will take next as she continues this fight.
She luckily had some PTO built up and the ability to work from home, but the cost of treatment and the toll it has taken physically are adding up quickly. It is important for her to be able to rest to heal and be able to come back swinging when she is ready. This means that she may have to take more time off than she was hoping, but in the long run it will definitely be worth it!
We know this is temporary, the battle will be far from over, even when treatment is done, but for now she needs to focus on the fight!
We all know she would do anything for anyone, and has always been there in others' time of need, if you can help any amount will help! If you can't donate please share!
