Christina's Journey
A year ago, my best friend Christina's life took a drastic change. She went to the doctor when she found a lump on her neck, thinking that she had some swelling or maybe a injured tendon. She is a pilates instructor, and in prime health. After meeting with several doctors and surgeons, having biopsy after biopsy, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 29.
Those of you who know Christina knows what a selfless, strong, caring person she is. She has been brave, and fighting this fight in private.
Christina has chosen to heal herself with Holistic Medicine. Unfortunately, we live in a country where her health insurance doesn't cover this type of treatment. So for the last year, she has been forced to travel in and out of the country by herself just to receive the treatment she needs, all while paying for every cent of the cost out of her own pocket. She's spent her life savings fighting to cure herself, because she didn't want to burden anybody by asking for help. Because that's the kind of selfless, amazing person she is.
I am starting this GoFundMe because she should not have to fight this battle alone, nobody should. We all know somebody who's life has been touched by cancer. If you've ever wondered what you could do to help, or what you could do to make a difference, this is your opportunity.
Anybody who knows Christina knows how caring and full of love and life she is. She constantly puts others first without question. Well it's our turn to return the love.
Her prognosis is good, but only if she can continue on the holistic treatment path she is on. This means maintaining her current treatment regimen, and once again having traveling abroad several times for Stem Cell Treatment.
Please please help me by supporting Christina, so she can finish her treatment, and get rid of this terrible disease. Any donation would be so greatly appreciated, and would help tremendously.

Hodgkin's lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of your immune system.
In Hodgkin's lymphoma, cells in the lymphatic system grow abnormally and may spread beyond the lymphatic system. As Hodgkin's lymphoma progresses, it compromises your body's ability to fight infection.
