On July 16th, my family; the Lorusso family received news that would change our lives drastically. My mom Christina Lorusso is a loving mother to me and my two sisters Lauren, and Amanda. My mom has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma in her upper abdomen and chest cavity. This devastating news crushed our whole family. My mom has a rough health history, battling advanced Rheumatoid Arthritis for over ten years. Our family needs love and support. My mom is now out of work due to her compromised immune system and has no income. While this news is devastating for all of my family, this horrible news especially devastates me, the youngest daughter Victoria. My mom has always been my best friend, I never neglected to go to her for anything that was on my mind, we would get our nails done together and go out to eat together, but now that isn’t an option due to the cancer. I will be going to school soon, since I will no longer there be there to help her, knowing that my mom is at least financially stable will keep my mind at ease, and all my  family members minds.
