If anyone knows my mom, you simply know what kind of woman she is: kind, smart, hard working, loving and STRONG! Throughout every circumstance, my mom has selflessly been the rock and support for everyone, no matter how good or bad the situation is.

Now is the time where Christina needs everyones support, whether it's kind words, a memory or prayers.

In September 2016, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. It's never a good feeling to find out about such a terrible disease, but it was especially difficult for our family, since Christina is the glue that holds us all together. Although tears, fear and anger are constant emotions for all of us, these emotions are fueling our fight to beat this ugly disease. Throughout all of this, Christina has yet to stop smiling, spreading her love, and being beautiful inside and out.

After her diagnosis, she went through three rounds of chemotherapy, which was ineffective in treating her cancer. Hearing that news was a devastating setback, and a disappointment to us, our friends, and family. Thanks to an amazing medical team, we have a new treatment plan that is more aggressive, but making headway in beating her cancer.

Throughout the hair loss, pain, weakness, and the debilitating effects of chemotherapy, our mom still continues to remain positive, loving, and kind to all. Our mom is not ready to stop fighting, and we are asking anyone who is able, to join the fight with us.

Any and all donations to #ChristinaStrong will only be used for funding Christina's increasing medical expenses. Any surplus donations will be donated to the American Cancer Society and Love Your Melon.
