Christina’s Cancer Fundraiser
My good friend Billy and his wife need your help!
37 year old Christina Rothweiler was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple months ago after noticing a small painful lump under her arm. After having a biopsy, she was told it was stage 3 and would be working towards a cure. An MRI was done a short time later and found that the cancer had spread to her liver and is now stage 4, and a cure is out of the question. Imagine receiving this devastating news on top of everything else 2020 has had to offer. She has had to take a leave of absence from her job as a CNA, and her insurance deductible is $7,000. On top of that, bills are piling up and nobody should be burdened with that on top of fighting to survive. With October being breast cancer awareness month, now is you chance to help someone who is currently struggling with this horrific illness. I implore you to skip the pumpkin spice latte today and contribute. Every little bit helps, thank you in advance!
Edit 11/28.......from Billy, Hello again everyone It's hard to ask for money when I know others are struggling with everything covid-19 has brought, but that's our only option right now other than all the paperwork we've filled out for grants or loans or programs that we may or may not ever hear back from. Most of the services offered are tapped out due to lack of fundraisers due to covid-19..it's just making this battle even harder. We're currently awaiting disability as well.. everything is just taking a long time to come together, and meanwhile the bills don't stop. COBRA insurance is expensive and our only option at the moment. We still need to make our 7k deductible, but it's likely being sent to collections because we couldn't afford their high monthly minimum payment. All that aside, and for those who don't know, this fundraiser is to help my wife Christina and I with bills that we are having trouble paying due to a stage 4 metastatic breast cancer diagnosis late this year and everything it brought with it Christina is my loving wife of 5 years and we've been together for 18 years. She's been a CNA for almost our entire relationship, and I know I'm biased, but she's one of the best CNA's on the earth. You would've wanted her taking care of your loved ones for sure. Sadly that's too high of a risk job due to the chemotherapy and covid-19, so she's had to take unpaid leave until further notice.
At the time of writing this she's on chemotherapy treatment 5 of 6. After chemotherapy comes radiation and surgery. This is only the beginning of a long battle. Doctors don't give her much hope of beating this since it has spread to her liver, but we won't hear it. We're fighting this. Anything you can donate will help us get through the day. Thanks for taking the time to read this Please share, Please help
