Christina suffered a sudden hemorrhagic stroke (brain bleed) due to a rupture aneurysm last week. Her journey has only begun and is difficult. The first night was her most challenging. She developed pneumonia in addition to her brain injury. The astounding doctors at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital have performed two procedures to assist with the swelling in her brain. She is on a slow path to recovery. The rehabilitation for this type of stroke is long and exhausting- something we know Christina can handle with the support of her friends and family.  

Christina is strong. Intelligent. Kind. Witty. Compassionate.

 A woman who participates in child abuse justice protests, is an advocate for those in need, a motivator, a poet, hair dresser, protector, and overall a lover of life. Her heart is made of gold. She is a beautiful mother of two amazing children, a fiancé to the love of her life, a daughter, a sister, a caregiver, and to many friends - she is family.

Although emotional support and prayers are needed- let's ease the financial burden of this challenging time for her and her family. This fund will provide aid with medical bills, gas to and from Santa Paula to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, and other necessities for Christina and her family.
