Christina Needs Our Help After Surgery

On 6/30/25 Christina was admitted to Northside Cherokee Hospital where she had emergency surgery due to a perforated sigmoid colon caused by diverticulitis. They had to remove approximately 14 inches of her large intestine. She has to have a colostomy bag for 12 weeks, and then will be doing surgery to remove/reverse the colostomy bag. She will be out of work until 8/4/25 for the 1st part of this healing journey, and when she does return will be on extremely light work duty. This greatly impacts Christina's financial situation as she is a single income household who relies on cash tips from her customers at Cracker Barrel. The money will be used to cover rent for July/August and all her other monthly bills. It will also be used for her groceries and simple living necessities.
