Hey everyone,
Christina was recently admitted to the hospital for extreme pain, and was diagnosed with progressive stage four single cell Lymphoma. The cancer started in her lymph nodes, but had spread to her lungs, liver, neck, skull, and bone marrow before she ever knew she even had it. They told her it was incurable, and that she likely has a year to live if the treatments work.
Despite all of that bad news, Christina has thankfully had several small victories since her diagnosis. The hospital was able to get her pain to a manageable state, and she was able to be discharged. And while the chemo they have been giving her has taken a toll on her energy, her cancer numbers and blood count have been steadily improving.
But all of this has been a burden on her financially. On top of all the doctor bills and costly medications, her battle against this cancer also has her in a state where she is currently incapable of working. That means she is unable to make the money she needs to pay for things like bills and groceries. And while she is getting disability, it should come as no surprise that it's not nearly enough to support her during this difficult time.
Some of you may know her as a Flagger at CJ Hughes. Some of you may know her from her time working at JC Penneys or the bank. Some of you might be lucky enough to call her friend or family. For anyone fortunate enough to know her personally, you'd know that she is one of the most kind, caring, hard working, and genuine people around. She always goes out of her way to help others and is always there when someone is in need.
She absolutely needs and deserves any help you can give at this time. Even if you cannot donate, prayers and words of encouragement are welcome. And spreading this on social media would be a huge help. Every little bit means a lot and is greatly appreciated.
