Christina Marie Carlisle Funeral & Children fund
Donation protected
On February 26, 2022, Christina Marie (Carlisle) Delmendo passed away leaving behind her son's Austin and Dario, and daughters Zoey and Hataya.
My name is Christian Carlisle, and this was my little sister.
There were 3 of us growing up together. Me, Christina, and Candace, and after our father divorced their mother, I spent the rest of my childhood raising my sister's while our father worked to keep a roof over our heads. Out of 3 of us, Tina had it the worst. She had astigmatism, dyslexia, and struggled every day in a school system that didn't care what happened to her. She graduated highschool barely being able to read because they had no idea how to help her.
I fought her bully's, I fought her teachers, and I fought every day just to get her to a point where she had a chance to survive on her own.
She not only survived, she eventually had 4 wonderful kids I'm proud to call my nieces and nephews.
Tina had Moyamoya Disease. Moyamoya disease is a chronic and progressive condition of the arteries in the brain. People with moyamoya disease have narrowing of these blood vessels that leads to blockages and can eventually cause ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, and seizures.
She'd already had several strokes in the last few years, and it finally caught up to her and she died in front of her children, unfortunately.
The landlord is going to kick the kids out as soon as he finds out that Tina has passed, we have to fight for custody of her youngest son Dario in court (his father supposedly has split custody but hasn't seen the boy since he was born), and my sister and I have to figure out how to cover all the funeral expenses along with getting her older kids a place to stay.
As much as I hate asking for help, we have no choice at this point. If it wasn't for Covid and the fact that I barely have any work right now I'd try to take care of most of it myself.
Any amount you can donate is a help and blessing in itself. It all goes to funeral expenses, court fees, and anything left goes to the kids for rent and a place to live in the meantime.
Thank you,
Christian Carlisle
