Christina and Gabriela

Hi. Please consider helping two very special people make it through the next few months as they prepare for the unimaginable. Christina and Gabriela are a mother-daughter duo who have been through a devastating three years, and now face Christina's impending death without any financial safety net. At the beginning of the pandemic, Christina was diagnosed with breast cancer that did not respond to even the most aggressive treatments. As a single mother, she was no longer able to work and the two have just survived on government payments. To add to their difficulties, dramatically increased rents caused them to be evicted from their home and community and move to Rome, GA where their payments could go the farthest. Unfortunately, Christina's cancer has now metastasized to her brain. She can no longer drive, and is barely able to cover basic costs, causing them to be food insecure. She and her daughter are dear friends and community members, despite their distance. Please help us support their need for basic medical costs, food and bills.
