Christina and Felix Lerma

Anyone who knows my mom and dad know that they are two of the most kind and selfless people. They go out of their way to help anyone in need. We’re not the family to ask for help but my heart is breaking for my mom and dad and I want to do anything in my power to help relieve any burden.

My mom has been in the ICU at Cleveland Clinic with COVID for a week now. Today, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives and put our Mom on a ventilator. We’re praying this is only for a few weeks but God has a plan and we’re trusting in him.

We are searching for a monthly rental home/condo in Cleveland for my Dad so he can be near my mom and visit her daily. My brother, sister and I are taking turns to make sure that Dad is taken care of, traveling and staying with him in Cleveland to support and visit mom daily as well. Due to this my Dad has taken a month (may be more depending on her status) off of work to be by her side daily.

Mom will be in the hospital for many weeks to come so any help is so VERY much appreciated. He would never ask for anything from anyone and as much as we’re all here to support him, I’m hoping to alleviate some of the financial burden on him so he can focus on being there for my Mom.

Everything $ collected will go to Dads lodging , travel to mom and any medical obligations she has.
