My beautiful sister Christie (Bierwas) Kinahan left us yesterday after a 10 month battle with glioblastoma. Our hearts will never be the same. Along with many friends and family, Christie leaves behind her wonderful husband Pat and her beautiful daughters Olivia(15) and Natalie(12).
Christie was an amazing person who lit up the room when she smiled. She made friends everywhere she went. She was an incredible teacher who had a natural ability to connect with her students and co-workers. When she wasn't in the classroom you could find her on the sidelines cheering on her girls, taking hikes, or spending quality time with her family and friends.
When Christie was diagnosed with glioblastoma in July 2020 they knew the prognosis was terminal. Christie and Pat made the decision to focus on making as many memories as they could with their family and close friends, making Olivia and Natalie their first priority.
Christie's last wish was that Pat made sure her girls went to college. Please help us in fulfilling her wishes. Help us give Olivia and Natalie the opportunity to go to college.
