Christie’s Hospital and Cancer Research

Hi my name is Val and I am asking for donations in memory of my wonderful husband Glyn.

Glyn sadly passed away from kidney cancer on New Year’s Day. He fought this disease with strength and determination daily. Many days he would feel so tired and poorly from the treatment, but he carried on stoically for just over two years.

The medical treatment and care he received from Christie’s was amazing. They were always there for us both every step of the way. We are indebted to Dr Waddle and his team who did their best to contain Glyns cancer. We were told at first consultation that it wasn’t curable.

Any funds received will be divided between the two Charities. Our hope is for the future, and helping in beating this disease, that destroys so many lives.
