Hi, as most of you are already aware, Christie has being battling stage 4 bowel cancer since early 2023 after numerous misdiagnosis of diverticulitis and other aliments. Christie was eventually diagnosed after undergoing emergency bowel surgery in August 2023, where her bowel had perforated resulting in the tumour bursting and attaching to other organs. Christie then started chemo in September until December, with the plan of an extensive surgery in January 2024. When Christie underwent the surgery we all had the devastating news that it couldn't be performed due to finding more cancer in other areas. It has since been confirmed this is the result due to the initial mistreatment in 2023 by Rotherham NHS. We are now in the position where a more aggressive chemo is needed to tackle current diagnosis.

Despite the constant turmoil that Christie has faced on her journey so far and the constant obsticles thrown her way she has remained her beautiful, strong, brave, positive self for the sake of her amazing boys. For this we are completely in awe of her, so this is our way of trying to help her and her boys.

Us as family and close friends (despite protest from Christie herself as she doesn't want a fuss) have found ourselves in a position that feel we need to do everything we can to take the fight into our own hands.

We have all lost total faith in Rotherham NHS considering what Christie has been faced with, we are now looking into private treatment routes.
