For those of you who haven't heard, Christie Lynn Donohoe-Sir unexpectedly passed away on the morning of September 17, 2019. Christie was loved by everyone that she met during her time on earth and she will be greatly missed by many. Christie was a caring, thoughtful and gracious person who would do whatever she could to help even if it meant that she had to go without. She had a big heart and a bright soul. Christie was strong willed but her strength was admirable. She was a breast cancer survivor, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, but most importantly she was someone who made a difference in the lives of all of those around her. She was a fighter and she overcame all that life threw at her but unfortunately she lost this fight. Wherever she may be, it does give me peace that she is no longer in pain but it will be a struggle to live a life without Christie in it. Christie leaves behind her husband Jason and her daughter Kyla as well as her five cherished dachshunds that she loved with all of her heart. We plan to honor her by just doing the simple things that she loved and that gave her joy. Like camping, walking the dogs at the river, being at the lake, gardening, cooking, the list goes on. But especially by just being the kind of person she was. Have a big heart, care for others, help others, be kind, be grateful. Two things she used to say I'll remember until the day I die, "be the bigger person" and "you treat others the way you want to be treated". We are asking for donations to help with end of life expenses such as hospital bills, storage of her belongings as well as her celebration of life. All who loved her are welcome to attend. We would like to give family and friends ample time to make travel arrangements so the location and date of her celebration of life will be announced later on. Anything helps and we are deeply grateful for whatever you are able to give. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart ❤❤❤
