This GoFundMe page is to pay for the cost of cremation and a memorial service for our beloved Christie Donehue. Any remaining donations will go towards supporting the family during this difficult time, so they can focus on their health and happiness rather than expenses for the foreseeable future.
To anyone who knew her, Christie was an incredibly selfless and loving person, who always put her children and loved ones first. She was the most accepting person we have ever known, never making judgments about anyone and always opening up her heart and home to those in need. Christie was like a second mom to many of her children's friends, providing a loving environment to anyone who entered her home. Christie was a devoted nurse and genuinely cared for all of her patients during her 10+ years in the medical field. She spent the majority of her life ensuring other people were cared for. She was goofy and funny and absolutely one-of-a-kind. Christie's passing was very unexpected and tragic. Chronic pain and crippling mental illness onset by fibromyalgia took hold of her as the years passed, which ultimately led to her untimely passing. All who knew Christie were shocked by her death. Her character was altruistic, her voice was warm and caring. Her absence will be felt by anyone who knew her.
