Hi, my name is Zac, I’m 18 years old, and I currently live in Brentwood, Essex. I was originally raised in South Africa, where I grew up in a Christian household that had a strong influence on my values and outlook on life.

Throughout my life, I’ve been positively impacted by Christians who have offered support, guidance, and encouragement during important stages of my development.

Not everyone has access to that kind of support, especially when facing financial hardship or poverty. This is something that matters greatly to me, which is why I’ve chosen to raise money for CAP (Christians Against Poverty), a charity that provides practical help and long-term support to people struggling with debt and financial difficulty.

To support this cause, I’m taking on a major personal challenge:

I will be doing an Ironman 70.3 in October 2026.

This includes a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride, and a 21.1km run, and will require significant training and preparation.

Transparency is very important to me, so I want to clearly explain how donations will be handled. All funds raised will be paid into my personal account. From the total raised, I will use £1200 to cover essential costs such as race entry, travel and equipment. All remaining funds will be donated directly to CAP.

I am fundraising independently and am not officially affiliated with CAP. After the event, I will post an update on this page with proof of donation.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will be put to good use supporting CAP’s work. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would also mean a lot.
