Christian Tufaro Medical Fund
Donation protected
Many of you may know Christian Tufaro, but those who do not let me e-introduce you. Christian grew up in a small town in NJ but to a big loving family. He is part of the LGBTQ community and actively volunteers his time to supporting local fundraisers, like his hometown’s haunted house which has raised money for a number of causes . Christian is a professional hairstylist and makeup artist. He has done prom hair and makeup for your children, your friends weddings & many of us in town. He is extremely talented and kind and is consistently putting the needs of others before his own.
This past Mothers day, Renee & Jimmy Tufaro (Christians loving parents) went through every parent's worst nightmare. Their son was struggling to breathe. With the current pandemic at hand, it was difficult to decide what the best move would be, but later that evening, it was clear that Christian needed medical help and was rushed to the hospital.
The hospital tested him for Covid-19 and thankfully his results came back negative. However, we have come to learn that Christian suffered from a double lung infection and a pneumothorax ( a collapsed lung.) He currently has tubes keeping both lungs inflated. To make matter worse, he is unable to see his family, boyfriend and friends due to the hospital's pandemic protocol. We have no further answers to our MANY questions, so for now the best thing we can do is be positive.
After a month of being in the hospital, we are still unsure of when Christian will be able to return home and in the bigger picture - return to work. We want to help Renee and Jimmy financially because they have enough on their plate.
We understand that a lot is going on in the world. We thank you in advance for any and all donations. If you can not donate we would appreciate if you could share this link.
