Hi, my name is Johnnica Blassingill and I am fundraising for Christian Beavers and his family. Christian plays travel baseball and is the Catcher for the Indians Baseball 14U team based out of Ball Ground, GA. (I am one of the team moms), as well as playing catcher for his H.S. baseball team in Blue Ridge, GA. Christian was recently injured during a baseball game in Orlando, FL. Christian's injury required him to be airlifted out of the main stadium at the Disney ESPN Word Wide Sports complex. He was admitted to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Kids in Orlando Florida on Thursday, June 17th with a fractured skull. Christian is still in the ICU with his family by his side to encourage and support his recovery. While he is not in the clear yet, he is a strong kid and has a large group of family, coaches, teammates, and friends praying for him constantly. We are confident that Christian will be healed completely with continued prayers, determination and toughness that he has always displayed. While we do not know how long the recovery time will be; we do know that his family needs to be by his side as much as possible. Therefore we are asking for donations to assist his family with maintaining their bills while they are out of work standing by his side. We do not want his family worrying about missed time at work and daily/monthly expenses, as their focus needs to be completely on Christian's recovery. His mom, dad, sister, and brother are all by his side and we would like them to be able to remain by his side as long as it takes. They are miles from home and even once he gets home, they need to remain close by for his recovery. Christian is very close to his family and one of the best kids I have ever known. He constantly asks his family to pray for him and wants them to hold his hand as much as possible. We (the Indians Baseball family) are asking for donations to eliminate the financial stress for the family while they keep their focus on the recovery of an amazing kid. Anything is helpful and all funds will go directly to the family to be used for expenses related to his care and the family's bills while they miss time at work.
