Hello Family & Friends, This Is Sue Parker and as most of you know I'm one of Christian's Biggest Fans. (AKA) His Home Care Aid and Nurse but, most of all his all around Best Friend. As I reach out to ALL
of you, I first want to say how PROUD I am of Christian Hendricks!!! He currently holds the 2016 WORLD Figure Championship Bronze Medal & was inducted into the WORLD Figure Championship "Hall of Fame" in 2015. When Christian told me in July of 2015 that he wanted to return to skating after ALL he has been through and the battles he has fought with his health, I obviously wanted to support him in ANY way I could but, I don't mind telling you that I NEVER dreamed that it would be like this nor did I have any idea of the enormous JOURNEY that he was about to embark upon. All I can say is "Way to Go Christian!!!"
The last few years have truly been a fight for Christian. His fight to return to skating plus the fight he still fights every day for his life. Although he fights three terminal illnesses, Christian has been amazing as he returned to the WORLD Figure Championship. He has battled through so many of his illnesses , also a few broken ribs, broken wrist, and now is fighting a bad hip that will have to be replaced after worlds this year, ALL while trying to INSPIRE as many people as he could along the way. His passion Is REAL. Skating IS his life. So let's let him live ONCE again his DREAM to return to the WORLD Figure Championship 2017 (unfortunately, maybe for the last time). As most of you know Christian lives on a VERY limited income. So each year that we reach out to you it is TRULY in need. This year Christian will push harder, needing a little more help in his training. Not only is he working very hard on his 16 figures he needs to perform at WORLDS but, he also has entered his DREAM event the "Fancy Skating" portion of the WORLD Figure Championship set to music, which means more training time. So once again let's make this happen for Christian Though his passion for skating will forever live in his heart, there are limits to what his body will allow him to do and for how long. Thank you to everyone who has made Christian's Dreams come true!!! Let's Do It Again!!!
