Christian Alexander Morales “TRE”, 28, passed away Saturday morning, March 16th 2019 in a car accident due to a drunk driver.

Christian born on January 29th of 1991, was proud to be raised in Houston, Texas to his loving mother Patricia Vela, as her one and only son. Christian is survived by his mother and two sisters. Stephanie Morales and brother in law Juan Mendiola Jr. along with his nephew Fernando “Turtle” Delgado and niece Emily Mendiola. Tabitha Morales and brother in law Jose Torres along with nieces Alyssa and Mia Torres and nephew Aaden Torres and many family members who cherished him. Christian’s family describes him as a memorable son, caring brother, loving uncle, spoiled but loved nephew, one of a kind grandson, and much more.

Tre attended and graduated December 2017 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Sam Houston State University.

While attending SHSU, Christian joined the Eta Chapter of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity in the Spring of 2014. Christian had a great passion and pride in his fraternity and line brothers. His brothers knew Tre as someone who was trustworthy, brutally honest, and full of life. Christian surpassed all opportunities given to him through this brotherhood. He took on the fraternity life and gave it his all. He held multiple chairs that consisted of giving back to the community and greek life on campus. Christian took brotherhood to another level and most of his brothers will say he was a “real one”.

Christian has many friends in different cities and states who he loved and loved him. He was a very loving and giving individual who always wanted to make everyone feel welcomed. There was not a person he met that did not consider him a friend after meeting him. Christian lit up the room and his smile was infectious. His personality was one of a kind and there are many people who live to tell his legacy.

For those who knew Christian, know that he would not want any of his friends and family to be sad. Instead, he would want us to be smiling and remembering all the great times we shared with him.

The family requests that in lieu of gifts, please contribute to keep Christian’s legacy alive by donating to the Christian “Tre” Morales scholarship fund that will be granted to an upcoming scholar attending college.

Join us in respecting and remembering a great man, son, brother and friend.

Rejoice in the good times and SMILE.
