Christian Pappas Recovery

On Friday, October 13, 2023 Christian and 3 friends were in a horrific car accident on Montgomery Drive in Santa Rosa, CA, when the vehicle they were driving flipped multiple times and caught on fire. One young woman lost her life in the accident and two other passengers, including Christian, sustained life threatening injuries. Christian was pinned inside the burning vehicle and sustained severe 3rd and 4th degree burns to his legs, along with multiple other injuries. He was flown to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento to be treated at the burn center due to the severity of his injuries. Christian underwent multiple surgeries lasting more than 7 hours. These surgeries were for immediate life and limb saving measures only. He will remain at UC Davis Medical Center for at least a month, during which time he will undergo multiple additional surgeries to treat his 3rd and 4th degree burns, broken bones, and other injuries. After this he will be transferred to a rehabilitation center for another month or more. I have created this Go Fund Me with permission from his father Joshua Pappas to raise money for Christian's immediate and ongoing medical care and related expenses.

Christian is a strong, caring and vibrant young man with his whole life ahead of him. He recently worked for Cal Fire and dreamed of making a career of it. Christian is a man of faith and we are so thankful that God spared him from death in this horrific accident.
