Bridgetown neighbors,

I am so thankful for how thoughtful all of you are! It truly makes Bridgetown stand out from everywhere else! I wanted to bring something to everyone's attention. Our maintenance man Christian “Manny” Emmanual has been biking and walking to work for the last year. Manny has to walk or bike 11 miles to Bridgetown and another 11 to get home EVERY DAY! It wasn't always like this though. Manny had a car for a very short time until it became unfixable just weeks after buying it a while back. Since finding this out, there has been a group of individuals who have asked how to contribute to helping Manny get a set of wheels.

Some background on Manny -

Manny, originally from St. Croix and Antigua, moved with his family to Manhattan. While there, he worked in the New York School Board system for 17 years in the Janitorial/Maintenance division.

In December 2021, Manny relocated to SW Florida. After the move, Manny joined the Bridgetown team in January 2022 with a temp agency. He excelled in his job and with no hesitation was offered a position to stay with Bridgetown permanently!

Just like everyone else, Manny likes to take the SW Florida climate to his advantage. His hobbies include biking, jet-skiing, and any water-related sports.

Manny has been an exceptional addition to the Bridgetown family. I created this GoFundMe as a way for the Bridgetown Community to help encourage him and assist in the purchase of a new vehicle.
