Christian Helmer [Memorial]

This is my brother, Christian, he was a thoughtful young man who was gentle hearted, creative, an avid video game enthusiast. He was very loved by everyone, especially by his nieces. Although he was usually quiet, he loved being around his family and was always quick to serve. He had a deep compassion for people who were often misunderstood, on the fringes, and needed to be seen. What many of you don't know is that Christian struggled deeply with loneliness and depression. On Monday, June 10, 2019, Christian said his final goodbyes to his family and decided to end his battle with depression. We pray that he is free of all the pain he experienced in this life. 

As a family, we were not prepared for this sudden departure and are now franticly trying to put together the pieces while grieving this loss. What we need in addition to your thoughts & prayers is financial help. Christian was on state disability insurance and didn't have a life insurance plan. We simply need help to fund the costs of a basic funeral and burial. We greatly appreciate anything you are able to contribute. The funeral will take place in the next 7-10 days, we are finalizing details now, but the costs currently ranges between 15k-17k.

 We are hoping to have this funded within the next week so we can move forward and give him an honoring funeral.
