Christian Drew's Kidney Transplant Operation

Hello,

My name is Cheyenne Drew, and I am raising money for my father's kidney transplant.

My father was born with a hereditary disease called "Polycystic Kidney Disease" (PKD). As a result of this disorder, clusters of cysts develop in the kidneys, rendering them impuissant. He has mostly lost the ability to walk and must attend dialysis three times a week. My father is in a great deal of pain each day and is desperate for a working kidney.

He is currently on the list for a kidney transplant. When a kidney does come, the operation and aftercare will cost $10,000-$15,000. As a result of his rapid decline, he was forced to medically retire from his job as a Registered Nurse at the VA Medical Center in late 2020. Since involuntarily retiring, he has picked up a few side hustles to try to raise funds, but he is still far from the mark.
