Hello, I'm Christian Laumbach. My wife Darcy has been very sick this year. Since January, she has spent over 10 weeks in the hospital at different facilities during that time, and still counting. She is on the mend from a very serious infections among other critical health issues. The expectation of what is to come is uncertain. Even when she comes home again she will need 24-hour care at home with daily medical therapy and physical reconditioning. I have been out of work for about 2 months now. We have exhausted savings and my leave with the 5 different hospital stays. Now I'm reaching out to my family and friends for help. We will have expenses beyond our normal monthly bills. We need help staying on top of our expenses during this time. We have had to purchase durable medical equipment and safety equipment to make her safe at home. The cost of living in hospital has been incredible. While we have raised a good amount, it is nowhere near what we will need. Once we get her home for good, there will be a long road to recovery and she will continue to need care at home for months. If you are able to help us, please do and don't forget to share.
