The Coptic Orthodox Church in Japan started in 2004 under the Auspices of HH the Late Pope Shenouda III after allocating the congregation and missionary work to the Diocese of Sydney and it’s Affiliated regions with the care of HG Bishop Daniel. The work continues now with HH Pope Tawadros II, as well as HG Bishop Daniel and Fr Moses who is looking after the daily needs of the service in Japan.
We have started this fundraiser to raise necessary funds for the daily needs and running of the Orthodox community in Japan, spreading the Gospel of Christ, and reaching the daily needs of God’s people through various missionary works and services traveling across the whole country.
