Christian Coleman's Stolen Property

My best friend, and possibly yours too, Christian Coleman was robbed a couple of weeks ago in NYC.
The jerks broke in through his apartment window and stole his laptop bag, laptop, a monitor, phone, and whats worse... his drives with essentially ALL of his photographs over the past 10+ years. He is more devastated by the loss of his past photos than his computer, never the less, all of this has come at an especially difficult time.**.
He is an amazing photographer who has been taking photos forever. Here is a link to his website.

I know a lot of us love Chris Coleman (or Christian Coleman as he is called by many) and know how important his art is to him. I wanted to start a gofundme on his behalf to see if his friends, peers, etc might help out Chris by helping him recoup the costs of his loss, to help him first and foremost, replace his computer and drives, but if there are extra funds, to help him cover some of the expenses of the lost footage (and what it will take to replicate some of the lost images where possible). For instance, Chris’s great aunt is 103 years old. Chris travelled out of town last year to do a photo session with her for posterity. Those images are gone. He feels he needs to get out to California as quickly as possible to have another session with her.
My goal for Chris(tian)’s gofundme page is to raise 5k. Anything will help, and in the instance that we are to raise more than 5k, those funds will go to help cover costs of travel, sessions of work lost.
While Chris is too humble to ask for help, I know that this loss right now is pretty devastating. As a photographer, he must use his own computer often when hired for photoshoots, magazine spreads etc. He is missing opportunities for employment. I would love to help him get his computer replaced asap.
